Shana tova! Mexican inspired Rosh Hashanah illustration

So I’ve been working on this in my printmaking class and will get this on a poster by the end of the week.

Backstory: I’m a convert and also Mexican-American. I’ve loved combining my two cultures together over the past several years. This time of year is especially perfect as the holidays usually line up with Mexican Independence Day, Hispanic Heritage month, and day of the dead. There’s a lot of similar themes as well for all these holidays and I’ve always been in awe how well, to me, they fit together.

Anyway I wanted to share this with y’all!
