My wife’s family comes from Morocco. They have a tradition for Passover night to pass vases – filled with water and flowers – over the heads of all attendees at the time of Etmol. A bit like Algerian with the Seder plate. Has anyone heard or experienced this before ? Could anyone please explain ? It’s a funny tradition, it does serve Pessa’h purpose as every year we ask “Why ? Why do you do that?” But no one knows.
