Sanguinetti Jewish Surname

Hello all and thank you for taking the time to read and/or comment. My great grandmother’s maiden name was Sanguinetti and her father immigrated from Palermo, Italy to Alaska. I was born with an Irish surname and throughout my childhood up until I began family research I basically had a very one dimensional view of my identity. Once I began this research and put together names, I only thought of the name Sanguinetti as being Italian. Now, years later am beginning to wonder if it is a Jewish Surname. I’m wondering where to take this and would like to understand more what this means in terms of my ancestral heritage and identity. Thanks muchly for any words or input. Much love and many blessings to you all xx
