my family was jewish for a very long time but due to some unfortunate events we have not been practicing for a few generations. i would love to be able to reconnect with my family’s heritage but i find scripture difficult to read, as much of it seems to be describing ancient lineages. are there any resources available that describe important beliefs, practices, and history that anyone would recommend?
