Something I hear all the time is, “Ashkenazi Jews aren’t from the Middle East.”

People often associate some of these traits with middle eastern people.

• Hairy
• Thick hair
• olive skin P.S this isn’t even true for everyone in the Middle East

My fathers Grandparents on both sides were born in or their family was from Eastern Europe specifically Russia and Poland.

We have been practicing the same Jewish traditions for GENERATIONS.

My father has all these traits as did his ancestors. I have also seen most people at my synagogue or others who are ashkenazi have these SAME EXACT traits.

Obviously there are exceptions like converts but that’s a different topic.

Anyway, I just needed to rant as I’m sick of people denying our heritage.
