Jew

Hello everyone, I was raised a reform jew and pretty much after my bar mitzvah i stopped practicing. I joined the navy and now i am stationed in japan and have been here for 5 years. Seems that there are very few jews on my ship and of course in japan as a whole. Im interested in starting to practice again but im not to sure where to start. They do have services on base and on the ship here and there but doesn’t seem to consistent and sometimes with my work i have no choice but not to go. I have slowly forgotten alot of our traditions and i really regret it. Being away from family not celebrating holidays has made me lose touch. I bought a tanakh and have been reading and praying but other than that If anyone had any recommendations i would love to hear. Very glad i found this page
