Questions about tzitzit tying styles for tallit gadol and tallit katan.

Forgive me for my ignorance. I have some questions regarding tzitzit. When tying Sephardic tzitzit, when would one use the tying patterns 10-5-6-5 and 7-8-11-13? Would you use one tying style for a tallit katan and the other style for a tallit gadol? Would you use one or the other for both? What exactly is the difference between the tying styles? Thank you.
