Question on Name of G-d?

Hey! So recently, I found a blog that already came off as kind of sketchy. They censor G-d, but I took issue with the fact that in the tags of one of their posts they used the tetragrammaton. Someone mistook my complaint as me having issue with them censoring G-d, which I realize not everyone does, but when I brought up that I found them just throwing out the tetragrammaton casually in internet tags very… interesting, and that my secular-leaning Rabbi would find that uncomfortable, they blocked me.

I do recall that we shouldn’t be using the tetragrammaton casually and that there’s been discussions on the use of the name(s) of G-d, but am I wrong? Was that okay for them to do? I’m second-guessing myself now.
