Question on Kashering Utensils

Hi! One of my (metal) knives came in contact with an empty can of treyf apple cider. How should I go about kashering this? I have heard neitzah is a possible solution but I don’t have the kitchenware to do hagalah (I live in a studio apartment with a kitchenette). Do I need to buy a bigger pot? Thanks in advance!
