Question for Hasidic women

I have a question for any Hasidic women (or other Jewish women who wear tishel). I’m Jewish but non dominational. I’m also a trans man (I identify as a man). Would it be inappropriate for me to gift a head scarf to a Hasidic woman?

For context I observe shabbos every week as well as other Jewish holidays with her and her family while I’m away at college and she’s sort of like my Rebbetzin. I have this scarf I’d like to give her but I don’t know if that would be appropriate. If it matters I’m an adult but only a few years older than their eldest child.
