Question for Baalei Tshuva: What led you there?

Trying to understand your journey.

What were the main factors that led you to be a BT (whether you were FFB and came back or born into a non-religious family)?

Was it first and foremost an intellectual pursuit on your own, then found a rabbi/mentor to help you on your journey?

Did you cultivate a ‘no-strings attached’ relationship with a rabbi/mentor first before explo

Was it through formal Kiruv group like NCSY or another sort of Jewish education group?

What was the initial hook?
