Question about the word/name יהוה

šalōm my yehudi friends. I just wanted to ask a simple question.

Is “יהוה” considered more of an attribute of God almighty?

Is it comparable to how, in Islam, there are 99 names of God almighty but they are more attributes that describe Him using language rather than a personal name in the sense that someone’s name is just an identity?

An example would be the name/attribute “الحي القيوم” (el7ayy elqayyum) which means “The (Ever-) Living, the eternal”

I hope this is making sense. חו אדני וישלם לכם
