Question about the passuk/verse ואהבת לרעך כמוך(and you shall love your fellow as yourself)

I heard from a rabbi, who I am very close to, that this only refers to Jews. If so, then where in the Torah does this concept(of loving/showing respect) also apply to non-Jews? Is it in ועשית הישר בעיני ה (and you shall do what is right in the eyes of G-d)?
