If anyone has answers I would greatly appreciate it.
So Elijah flees to Beer Sheba and an angel gives him a magic cake. Elijah then travels forty days and nights to the mountain. Since the angel anticipated the journey, I am guessing that God wanted him to go?
What is the purpose of him receiving God’s word at the mountain? Is there a teaching of why he didn’t receive it where he was or why the angel didn’t just convey him the message?
