Question about Jewish interpretation of religious text.

Non-Jew here (sorta?). My grandparents and some others on my mother’s side are Orthadox.

Anyway

Do you believe the Torah and the people in it (Abraham, Moses, etc) to be historical?

I suppose the answer may vary by sect.
