I was watching a rabbi on YouTube yesterday and he said “everything that happens does so because gods wants it to.” His example was a bank robber who gets away – this is god’s will. So, my question is this: assume someone hurts another person and in doing so commits a tremendous sin. But this is actually what god wants to happen. So, the person inflicting the harm is actually an agent of god. God wanted that person to be hurt. Yet, the inflictor is being judged for that action as it is a sin. Seems contradictory? Seems like the inflictor should get a reward and not a demerit.
