Pregnancy superstition

Hi folks. I’ve posted on here on and off about my journey. I’m that (now former) IVF patient. Tomorrow I’m 24 weeks, which is viability! How exciting! Thank Gd.

My mom was telling me about some Jewish superstition that you’re not supposed to set up the baby’s crib in the exact spot it’ll be when the baby is here. Have any of you heard that?

So we are not orthodox and have begun to stock pile some baby items even though I’m due in March. This is what we’re comfortable with. Believe me, I surprise myself because this is my third pregnancy and the only one to have made it this far.
