Passover Lamb

  1. Is the Passover Lamb purely of celebratory purpose for freedom and redemption while the goat sacrifice on the day of yom kippur is of atonement purpose for peace-making? If so, how could redemption come without atonement on the Day of Passover?

  2. Why does the purification of the Tribe of Levi require a bullock instead of a goat? What is the meaning of the burnt offering of a lamb at the end?

  3. If so, why did the Judge Samuel choose lamb sacrifice at Mizpah? (Vs. Goat or Bullock)
