I’m just wondering what the spectrum of belief is surrounding the oral Torah in the orthodox Jewish world (from chassidish, yeshivish to modern orthodox). I’ve heard different things along the way but my impression is that most Orthodox Jews including modern believe it is divine and from G-d and not man-made per se? But then there’s the part where they argue in it so that confuses me. Thoughts on how you were raised to view it?
