From an email that I received today:-
“We just received a series of reports about an antisemitic attack that took place in Brooklyn, NY just yesterday, where a young man was viciously attacked for wearing an IDF Sweatshirt, similar to the one we carry at our store. (More details in this JPost article) Our #1 goal at _______ is to stand up to anti-Israel hatred and not become discouraged to express our love for the Jewish State. Therefore we announce a 24 hour flash sale on all of our IDF products.”
I can’t decide. Is this a cynical marketing ploy, or a way for me to show solidarity? I already wear my kippah whenever I’m outdoors. Do I also need to wear a “Kiss me, I’m kosher” t-shirt?
