I grew up attending an egal conservative shul where a) there was no cantor and services were led by laypeople and b) musical instruments were never ever part of services. I’m looking for a shul to go to for Shabbat morning services in either Manhattan or Brooklyn – I’m flexible on a) and extremely NOT flexible on b). Queer inclusiveness also important!
Any suggestions that fit the bill?
