Alright fellas. I tried to explain to my beleaguered friend that she will never get a “definitive” answer from the Jewish part of her family as to what goes into noodle kugel, and that this was simply a fact of life – everyone’s kugel is The Kugel and must be made that way, everybody else’s is subpar.
