Nicest people ever

Seriously I felt so welcome at the synagogue. I was so nervous (probably due to previous trauma from religious experiences-lol) but everybody was so nice. I grew up being forced to go to Xtian churches and I always felt shunned and judged. But it already felt like a family here at the synagogue I went to. At the end of the service they were playing a song and the people there put their arms around each other and started swaying back and forth. I didn’t know what to do so I just stood in the corner by myself and a guy gestured for me to join them, and we were all swaying to the beautiful music, it was literally the sweetest thing ever.

Just wanted to share 🙂 I think I found my place!
