[Need advice] Should I go to the UK and spend the two self isolating shabbat alone? I have a very specific situation

TLDR : Do I go to my appartement in the UK, self isolate for 14 days and have to spend two shabbat alone (as a 20F) or do I stay in France until all the tichri holydays are over? I don’t mind being alone in an appartement at all, I just care about the two shabbat.

// Real post //

Hi everyone!

Long story short for the context, I’m a French person who got into university in London so I’m in the process of moving there. I’ve rented a place, went there to get all of my dishes set up and make the kitchen kosher and then came back to France to go on holyday with my parents (stayed in France the whole time).

So, I am French, I’m in France right now, but I have an appartement in London and that is where I want to be.

However, the UK just said that anyone who has been in France will need to isolate for 14 days. Real bummer but I understand.

My original plan was to make three trips to London and back to Paris during august/september, come back for all of the holydays and leave for good after Sukkot. But now that’s just not feasable.

So I have two options :

Option 1 : Go to London on the 25th of august and come back to Paris on the 17th of september. Stay in Paris for all of the holydays and only go back to London after Sukkot. That means I will have to self isolate until the 7th of september, which means I will have to spend two shabbat in self isolation.

Option 2 : suck it up and stay in France until after Sukkot.

All the train tickets are already bought. I will need to cancel 2 tickets with option 1 and 4 tickets with option 2. It’s not about the tickets though, they’re all refundable.

I was supposed to always be invited for Shabbat in London, it was never part of the plan to spend a single shabbat alone. I’ve never spent a shabbat alone in my whole life, I don’t know how that would work, I don’t know what that would entail (I’m 20F for context, I don’t know if I’m even allowed to do shabbat alone if I have a choice).

For more context, I don’t mind self isolating at all. I’m fine staying home and not going out at all. I’m literally only bothered for shabbat. If it wasn’t for shabbat, I would go and self isolate without a second thought. I just don’t know if I can do it with two shabbat in the middle.

So yeah. What would you do if you were me? I’m tempted to go and do it alone since I don’t mind self isolating at all, but my parents think it’s an horrible idea. But if I was always listening to them, I’d literally never do anything or go anywhere, which is why I’m asking for another jewish opinion.

I hope you guys can help me decide between option 1 and option 2.

Thanks and shabbat shalom!
