My maternal grandmother is ashkanazi Jewish converted to episcopalian, but her brother is a fairly committed jew. My mom is not religious and Judaism has never been a meaningful part of my life. I’ve always been curious to explore that part of my family and learn more about Judaism and how I might relate myself to the Jewish community. Where do you think a good starting point would be?
