Hey! My friend is getting married and she’s orthodox and i’m quite secular. I’ll be flying to her and i’ll be her braidsmaid. I’ve actually never been to a wedding in general… but i kinda have an idea what a “normal” wedding would be like.
But how does an orthodox jewish wedding work? What gifts do i buy? I know what colour the dress will be but it definitely has to be tsnius, right? What about the shoes? Are heels okay? Normal amount of makeup?
Is the wedding divided by gender? Maybe these are questions i should be asking her but i just want an idea. It’s pretty soon!
