Muktzeh – kelim she-melakhtam le-heter, but not for use on Shabbos?

Say you have an event space, and during Shabbos you could prepare for an event that would take place later on in the week. Preparing would involve moving chairs/tables (kelim she-melakhtam le-heter?) but not muktzeh machmat gufo/kli she-melkhtam le-isur. The chairs/tables would not be used for the rest of Shabbos. However I’ve read about a leniency that kli she-melakhtam le-heter can be moved for ‘any reason’. But it feels like it would surely still be prohibited to move them in preparation for an activity after Shabbos, during Shabbos. Any help? Thank you!
