Hi everyone! I have a question about when to complete daily morning prayers like Modeh Ani, negel vasser, Birkas haTorah, and Shema when one has a troubled/erratic sleeping schedule.
I’ve recently found myself with some trouble sleeping and I’m not sure when the most appropriate time to daven would be. For example, I can manage an hour or two of sleep per “night” but I’ll grab a few more hours later on in the day and maybe an hour in the evening. Really, my sleep schedule is all over the place. Would I need to recite the prayers every time I wake up or just once per day even though I’ve slept more than once?
Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do? Or maybe someone knows the answer to this outright?
