Mizrahi last names?

I’m legally changing my first name soon, and I’m considering changing my last name to a Mizrahi sounding last name. I would choose my maternal grandparent’s last name, as they were both Mizrahi. However, they changed their last names when immigrating to America. I have no contact with my mother, or anyone on her side of the family. I have no way of knowing what their last names were, but I do want to connect with my roots and change my last name to honor my heritage.
