So the midtown Eruv is huge and encompasses some very populous and busy parts of Manhattan. How can the Eruv stand considering the 600,000 person/day road rule.
Broadway, Lexington Avenue, 6th Avenue, 7th Avenue, 8th Avenue, 42nd street. (Park Avenue with East Side Access) and probably many others roads within the boundary of the Eruv and all carry more than 600k people per day. Is there some sort of special provision? Is this well known amongst the community?
