Microwavable Shabbos Dinner

Microwavable Shabbos Dinner

One of those modern oddities, having a distinguished guest joining us in the sukkah last shabbos. Even have a piece of the challah I made to absorb some of the mushroom-barley soup in the manner of Russ & Daughters. And some yemenite chicken with rice, hungarian lecso from my maternal side, Israeli salad, and mini-challot suitable for empty-nesters with no guests this shabbos. Sam Adams replaces chardonnay. Standard time arrives in a couple of weeks. Will need to either make dinner in Insta-pot or crock pot. More typically, I make something worthy of shabbos during the day, then pop it in a 65C oven from lichtbentschen until dinner time. One of those seasonal challenges.
