Alright – silly question time. I’m finally getting around to looking for a mezuzah scroll. I am not really sure that there is a sofer in the area, so I’ve been looking online (queue nervous tittering from the Orthodox folks, I know).
I measured my mezuzah case, and the opening for the scroll is like 6.75 cm – but the smallest scrolls I see around are 7cm. Anyone know if it’s possible to get a scroll smaller than that?
Or should I give up and get a larger case? I realize that there’s a limit to how small someone can write, so maybe this case is just unrealistic.
Any suggestions for finding an extremely small scroll (online or in the Bay Area) are welcome as well.
