I am a survival enthusiastic from Israel. Im looking for historic mentions or descriptions of tools, clothes methods and stories from the Tanakh about living off the land, surviving and thriving in the land of Canaan.
I am a native Hebrew speaker, and I plan to go read some of the Tanakh again to see if I can spot any interesting verses about the subject. If anyone can direct me to a specific story or mention, I would be very grateful.
Of course, the chronology goes over thousands of years, technology has evolved and some of the things that were common are rare or extinct and invasive species have replaced the nieches of those. I am also researching the archeological finds, but I am wondering what I can find in the religious texts about it.
