I have just moved to London and am looking for a synagogue. I am not really a practising jew but looking for a community in this new city. If I can get a last minute seat at a Seder that would be nice.
Any recommendations would be welcome.
Desired features: – within easy commute of Finsbury Park/Holloway/Arsenal – Open welcoming community – easy to meet people – Adult learning opportunities that don’t judge your prior knowledge/adherance. – decent membership in 25-35 age range – enough English to follow as a non hebrew speaker – Socially progressive ( willing to be critical of Israel, healthy attitude to women & lgbt+) – not ashkenazi centric (I went to a Sephardi synagogue back home)
