Looking for "intro to Talmud" reading material.

I have a quick question before shabbat. I’ve upped my observance in the past couple of years and am looking to study more. I’m quite familiar with Torah but have never began studying Talmud. I don’t live in a community where I could find a chevruta, but hope to find once after my aliyah process is finished by next year. I realize serious Talmud study should be done with a partner or Rabbi, so in the meantime I’m wondering if there’s any kind of introductory reading materials to Talmud study. Something that would allow me to wet my feet and allow me to not be entirely clueless whenever I do start studying with a chevruta.

If anyone could recommend something I’d be very appreciative.
