Looking for grief support

Hi MOTs!

I’m looking for good resources on grief. Specifically, my father is very, very sick, and we do not have a good relationship. He was and is abusive. I do not speak to most of my family .

I have been doing the right thing and visiting him in the hospital periodically (he’s not in the same part of the country as me). I’m trying to take the harm reductive and honorable approach.

I’m a practicing reform Jew, fwiw.

Do you know of books? Support groups? Rabbis who specialize in navigating difficult family dynamics?

This is very hard and very lonely.
