Shalom, while I am not Jewish I was just reaching out tonight because I was recently accepted into graduate school, and the school this fall is offering a class on Hebrew, and one of the texts we would use to learn Hebrew is the Tanakh.
That being said, I am a native English speaker who has some background in taking German in school (I was rather conversational auf Deutsch) so how easy is Hebrew to learn for an English speaker.
