What if someone starts gossip about you under the guise of “wanting to help”?
Like if you tell a friend about a personal hardship, and they help you but then go to their friends and say “I heard s/he is dealing with (private hardship). What do you think I should do to help them?”
The gossiper could argue they were trying to help, but they’re actually taking advantage of people assuming good intentions.
If the gossiper is a goy, what’s the best thing to do?
