Judaism and chronic pain?

Posting this out of curiosity (and a little desperation), as someone who is in the process of conversion and deals with chronic pain.

I’m wondering if there’s anything in Jewish literature, law, prayer, etc., that addresses chronic pain or similar issues. I have been dealing with chronic pain for over 6 years, in treatment for over four years, no end in sight. In all likelihood I will be in pain and need treatment from a specialist for the rest of my life.

Is there anything in Judaism that talks about this sort of thing? Ways Jews have addressed chronic pain or illness historically, relevant prayers, any relations between pain and halacha…? Anything y’all can think of is appreciated. I know, of course, that Judaism can’t solve my pain or anything like that. Just looking for new perspectives and information more than anything.
