Non-Jew here. I’ve sometimes wondered do Jews see films like The Ten Commandments (1956) as their own stories, or completely file them away in a separate mental category of Christianised. Also, many black gospel songs have exclusively Tanakh / Old Testament themes, especially involving slavery, freedom and the promised land. Does that mean anything to you?
