Jewish social games?

I’m looking for information about a jewish game or tradition where children are encouraged to copy one another. A way to encourage them to be realistic about their skills or talents.

When a child would present something interesting the adults would quickly ask who else could accomplish the same task. A psychological strategy used to develop the minds of children. They would then ask a few more questions to see if the children could be honest about who could or couldnt accomplish something.

I was exposed to this sort of thing when i spent some time with the jewish community at a young age. I’m looking for information that could help me reconnect with them.
