Jewish people do you ever get scared sometimes wearing your Yarmulkes?

I’m a bisexual guy age 22 afro Latino Pardo in Latin America. My mother was of African descent my father Spanish and Native American I often pass as Puerto Rican or Cuban. I live in Miami Florida which has a huge latin influence but in Aventura and North Miami Beach I sometimes see Jewish people in their Yamukles I can’t help but think do you guys sometimes get scared wearing them in public do you have a fear of being a victim of a hate crime?
