As far as I can tell I’m zera Yisrael raised Jewish and trying to make good out of it – sometimes this effects my luck seeking answers from the tribe, but might as well ask: Has anyone found Mississippi particularly welcoming or not, particularly for the 30-something headed-to-middle-age set?
At this point I’m comfortable with my personal level of observance and just might not have been made to tackle those problems in a shul setting after years of inquiry, but I have an obviously Jewish surname, and being somewhere 9 of 10 job applications aren’t overlooked or forgotten would be a blessing. How is Mississippi on that front?
