Jewish Fatherhood Advice or Resources?

My wife and I are expecting our initiatory child later this year. We both are Jewish (conservative- ashkenaz), but my father was not Jewish when I was growing up (he converted after I got married) and was absent from my Jewish life except for driving me to and from my Reform Hebrew school‍ classes. Part of me feels like I missed something by not being able to connect Jewishly to my father, so I want to be sure I’m “there” for my child. But outside of setting an example through things I currently do (study, tefillin, holidays, shul, etc…), what else can I do or should I do? Any advice is welcome.
