“Is this propaganda?” was the question two weeks ago. The answer was “mostly accurate propaganda” drawn from what’s known as the Yemenite affair in the early years of the Israeli state. The same type of crime occurred in other countries as well, including Australia, the U.S., and Canada. Now the Canadian version (“Many kids never returned home from schools”) is back in the news because hundreds of corpses have been found in addition to the 3,000-4,000 already known. Or possibly because churches are burning down.
