Is there a paradise after death? I keep hearing conflicting information such as the soul goes to gehinom for a year of ‘cleansing’ then goes to paradise. Or does the soul remain in sheol/nether world until judgement day?
In 1 Samuel 28:10-20, How was the witch of endor able to call Samuel up from his resting place in the earth on behalf of king saul for advice? It appears that Samuels soul remained in the earth (nether realm)
