Is there evidence that pre-Talmud Jewish/Israelite society adhered to the laws and details of the Oral Torah?

This may be a simplistic question, but before the written Talmud was codified, is there evidence that Israelite society observed the Oral Laws? Maybe through Mikveh or Kashrut slaughter or other things that would evidence the stringencies and Halachas found only in Oral Law? This would then lend credibility to the fact that Oral Law was observed and well known before the Talmud was written on paper. Is there evidence of this?

Thanks.
