The USDA has just approved the sale of lab-cultivated meat, and I thought of a few kosher related questions.
Is it kosher itself?
Could you mix it with dairy?
Currently we just have lab-grown chicken, but if pork and shellfish eventually become available, will that be considered kosher?
Dunno, food for thought, I’m not super kosher (i try) so I don’t know all that much! Thought I’d throw it out there.
