Is it time to return to our ability to be adaptive again in our Jewish Diaspora as inflation wracks our communities?

Pretty sure when we first came off the boats in America that getting Citrons might have been a bit impossible or to gather Kosher parchment to make our k’laf.

As prices explode and becoming unattainable even with various groups designed to help get such things for those who can’t afford.

Does it make more sense to encourage use of similar items within local resources rather than getting things shipped from half way around the world?
