Is it permissible halachically to listen to an audio book style recording of the Torah in English as I go to sleep?

I’m not sure if that would count as disrespectful or against Halacha in any way.

If it is acceptable, can anyone recommend any good sources of Jewish readings (not Christian as I fear mistranslation/representation). The ones I see on YouTube seem to be by Christians, even when I search Torah.
